Baths and massages are offered on a walk-in basis, so feel free to stop by when it works for you. During busy times like spring break, holidays, and summer, there may be a wait. Arriving early is your best bet.

Our bathing experience moves through several timed steps, and each guest can choose to enjoy all of them or skip certain portions. Because the flow and timing vary from person to person, appointments are difficult to manage without creating delays.

By offering services on a first-come, first-served basis, we’re able to keep things moving smoothly and welcome more guests throughout the day.

Swimsuits are completely optional. Just choose what makes you most comfortable. You’ll be provided with a full-size bath sheet to stay covered as you move between treatments.

We do not offer couples packages. Men can enjoy bathhouse services on the first floor with male attendants, while the ladies' department is situated on the second floor attended by female staff. 

Footwear is not mandatory, but we do offer spa slippers for $5.00.

On average, the complete bath and massage package takes around 1 1/2 hours. However, the duration may vary depending on customer volume, and it can take significantly longer during peak periods.

Hot Springs thermal water is naturally heated and rich in minerals like silica, calcium, and magnesium as it travels deep underground. It emerges at about 143 degrees, clean, gentle on the skin, and completely free of additives. It's the same pure spring water that’s drawn visitors here for generations.

We exclusively utilize water from a collection of 47 protected natural hot springs to maximize therapeutic benefits.

Absolutely! Our gift certificates are a wonderful option for a thoughtful present that can be redeemed at a later date. Stop by to purchase, or give us a call to purchase by phone. Please note that gift certificates are non-refundable.

Individuals with heart conditions, high blood pressure, diabetes, or thyroid conditions should consult with a physician regarding any concerns. Those with open wounds or sores, as well as individuals who have undergone surgery within the past six weeks, are not permitted to use our bath treatments.

Yes, we have an elevator dating back to our opening in 1912. It is a beautiful, hand-operated Otis elevator that ensures a stylish ascent to the second floor!

We have a 24-hour cancellation policy. To avoid a charge of 50% of the service fee, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel your appointment by calling 501-623-2308 during business hours. Additionally, if you arrive more than 15 minutes late, your appointment will be canceled, and a 50% service fee will be charged to the card on file.

Downtown Hot Springs has plenty of parking. Guests often use Central Avenue, the parking garage across the street, or the Visitor Center, each just a short walk from the Buckstaff.
